Effective July 20, 2026

CleanSlate processes images locally on your Mac. Your images are not uploaded to a server.

Data collection

CleanSlate does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, user accounts, or third-party data-collection SDKs.

Local preferences

CleanSlate stores your compression quality, output format, resizing choices, and output-location preference locally using macOS UserDefaults. It may store security-scoped folder bookmarks so it can access folders you explicitly authorize. This information remains on your device.

Image processing

Images you choose are decoded and processed on-device. Output files are written only to locations you select or authorize.
